Ringtones are among the most popular phone accessories. Everyone loves customizing their phone to make it unique and more personal. Nowadays, there are many ways that you can download ringtones, but first, you must determine which one is right for your device.
How to Download a Ringtone on an iPhone
On iPhones, there isn’t a direct way to download free ringtones because you can only do it through iTunes. There is no app store on iPhones because all the apps are found within iTunes itself. To download free ringtones on your iPhone, simply follow these steps:
1 . Open up iTunes and connect your iPhone to your computer.
2 . From the menu on the left-hand side (under Library), select Music.
3 . Under “On my Device” you will see a list of all the music and videos currently on your phone. Scroll through until you find a song or ringtone that you like, then right-click it and choose to Get Info.
4 . This will open up information about this particular single and next to “Options”, click the drop-down box and select “Start Time”. For example, if I chose Beyonce’s Halo, I would type 00:45 into this field (Halo starts at 45 seconds). Note: make sure that you use either 0’s or 5’s as placeholders as that is what iTunes expects.
5 . Next, go back to your main screen once you have changed all the songs you want to download as ringtones and find a section of the song that you want to use. Again, right-click it and select Get Info.
6 . For “Options”, type in how many seconds long the ringtone needs to be. For example, if I wanted 1 minute worth of Beyonce’s Halo then i would type 00:60 into this box (Halo starts at 45 seconds; 60 seconds multiplied by 1 minute = one full minute). Note: make sure that you use either 0’s or 5’s as placeholders as that is what iTunes expects.
7 . Once you have done that for every song that you want to download as a ringtone, reconnect your iPhone and wait for it to upload the ringtones. You will then be able to set them as your default ringtone when you go into Settings > Sounds.
The process of downloading free iPhone ringtones with iTunes is quite simple actually. However, if you’re using an Android device, no one wants to download songs or videos through iTunes

3 . Once you have downloaded the application, open it up and navigate through different categories until you find a song or tone that you want to use as a ringtone.
4 . When you’ve found something that is suitable for you, press on it long enough to download it onto your computer. The best thing about note: make sure that you use either 0’s or 5’s as placeholders as that is what iTunes expects.
5 . After you have done that, connect your Android phone to your computer and wait for the computer to recognize the device.
6 . Once it has finished recognizing the phone or tablet, all you need to do now is drag and drop the files into their designated folders in your phone (most phones will automatically download these onto your home page after downloading). Done!
